Hello. I am the Physical Education teacher at Ft. Riley Elementary. This is the first year I have been able to teach all of the students here, and I love being at FRE all day! I graduated from K-State in Physical Education and after moving around the country, my husband and I moved back to Manhattan to raise our two boys. I've been teaching 12 years, the last six here at FRE. My philosophy for teaching is to stimulate the interest and knowledge of the human body, to create a love for movement, and to understand the importance for physical health. My daily motivation is the eagerness and excitement the students show every time they enter the gym. I want the students to walk away each day having had fun and knowing they have helped their bodies. |
